Oloroso Dulce VORS - Barbadillo

We tried the Barbadillo Oloroso Dulce VORS at a wine tasting the week it arrived in the store and had to convince our customers it really wouldn't be good a good idea to finish the whole bottle. This is absolutely stunning and one of the most impressive Oloroso Dulces I've had. Liquid velvet on the palate, with notes of creme brulee, almond brittle, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg that take forever to dissolve on the palate. Good acidity keeps this from seeming heavy or overly sweet. As near perfect as you can get.
