Avinyo Brut - Cava

The Avinyo brand is produced by the Esteve Nadal family of Avinyonet del Penedès. The winery is located at their home "Can Fontanals" in the heart of the Penedès region of Barcelona.  Their Brut Cava is a blend of the typical grapes of the region, Parellada, Macabeo and Xarel-lo.  Aged for roughly 20 months before release this is has notes of pear, lemon, and toast.  With a creamy mouthfeel and nice length and balance.  An outstanding artisanal Cava.
