2010 Palacio de Bornos Verdejo - Rueda

The 2010 Palacio de Bornos is one of the most ubiquitous white wines in Spain.  You can find a bottle at almost every restaurant or cafe that's worth their weight in salt and olive oil.  The reason being is that it's a terrific bottle of wine.  It has all of the great Verdejo trademarks; stonefruit, minerals, cumin-y spice.  This vintage has a bit of extra richness in the palate which only expands its pairing options.
