2009 Dominio de Pingus "PSI" - Ribera del Duero

Peter Sisseck is the man behind the famed (and famously pricey), Pingus and Flor de Pingus.  Now he's finally making a full bodied, rich Ribera del Duero for the rest of us.  We had this while visiting Madrid in May and were so impressed that we ordered a case immediately so we could have some when we returned.  Burgundian weight on the palate, with notes of Asian spice, dried violets, iron, graphite, and smoke, enveloped with blackberries and blueberries.
