The 2009 Do Ferreiro Cepas Vellas Albarino comes from a vineyard that's over 200 years old and pre-dates any other vineyard in Rias Baixas. It's fermented with indigenous yeasts and spends 12 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks. So no manipulation here, just unadulterated deliciousness. It's full of rich stone fruit flavors, fantastic minerality, hints of asian pear, and a light floral note. Truly one of the best Albarinos around.
