2007 Malaga Seleccion Especial - Jorge Ordonez

This wine is made at the small Ordonez family winery from late harvest fruit that is left on the vine to ripen and partially dry before pressing to maximize sugars. The wine attains 13% alcohol naturally and is bottled without fortification. The 'Selección Especial' is fermented in stainless steel and is the freshest and lightest of the threewines produced here.The 2007 Seleccion Especial is golden in color with amber reflections, the aromas of tangerine peel and jasmine encounter bold honeyed fruit character. This floral, sweet wine will best accompany a citrus dessert such as lemon tart or sorbet.
