2005 Malaga Victoria - Jorge Ordonez

Three wines are made at the small winery from late harvest fruit that is air dried indoors before pressing to maximize sugars. The wines attain 13% alcohol naturally and are bottled without fortification. The second wine of three, labeled 'Victoria', is sourced from a vineyard of the same name that is over 50 years old. The grapes are dried indoors to concentrate their natural sugars before pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This wine is rich with floral perfume and sweet raisin fruit character. Bright acidity ties everything together. Serve this wine alongside citrus desserts or in a small glass all by itself.
