1987 CVNE (Cune) Vina Real Gran Reserva - Rioja

The 1987 Cune Vina Real Gran Reserva is extremely rare.  It's really remarkable to think about the history behind this wine.  Just imagine, the year that this wine was produced the Dow Jones closed above 2,000 for the first time, the Fox TV network debuted with Married with Children and the Tracy Ullman Show, Mike Tyson was crowned Heavyweight Champion, and the Iran-Contra Affair was ruling the headlines.  These wines age extremely well, up there with the best Bordeaux and Burgundy in our opinion.  So try a taste of history!
