The 1981 Tondonia Blanco Gran Reserva is unmatched for value on an aged wine. We had a customer who had this with with a creamy lobster soup she made over the holidays and was totally blown away. She said it was the best wine, let alone white she has ever had. There is a hint of honeycomb, pear, slighted toasted nuts, clove and nutmeg, and a touch of tangelo. Amazing freshness and absolutely stunning. Do not drink this too cold or you lose all the complexity. Ideal is 50 to 60 degrees Farenheit.
